Should I Upgrade My PC or Build a New One?

I'm considering whether I should upgrade my current PC or go for a whole new build. Here are my specs: I've got 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM running at 3600MHz, a Gigabyte B550M motherboard, a Gigabyte RTX 3080 GPU, a Ryzen 7 5900X CPU, and a 750W power supply. I'm aiming for more stable FPS while gaming at 1440p and my budget is around 3500 AUD. Any suggestions on what to do?

Given your budget, you're probably better off investing in a new GPU if you want a significant performance increase. But keep in mind that next-gen GPUs can be pricey. Also, consider whether you really need the upgrade now or if you can wait until prices drop after the initial launch period. It might also be worth checking for sales or bundles.

Honestly, it seems like your current build is already pretty solid. If you're looking for higher FPS, doubling your RAM could help a little, but beyond that, there may not be many viable upgrades for your AM4 setup. Have you thought about checking if your current components are fully optimized? Sometimes it’s just about tweaking settings instead of throwing more cash at new parts.
