Help! My Internet Won’t Connect After PC Reset

Hey everyone! After I reset my PC, I tried to get back online using a WiFi adapter, but it didn't work at all. I switched to an Ethernet connection, but that's not working either. Each time I try to connect, it shows 'secured, no internet.' If I leave it connected for a while, it eventually says 'connected,' but I still can't access any websites. I've already attempted resetting my network, rebooting my router and modem, and trying different DNS addresses. I'm really at my wit's end here! Any advice or tips on fixing this would be hugely appreciated!

It sounds frustrating! First, double-check if your internet is working on other devices, like your phone or tablet, just to confirm it's not a broader network issue. Then, if they are connecting fine, try plugging your PC directly into the modem with an Ethernet cable. If it gets a connection, the problem might be your router. If not, restart your modem and router together. If you're still having issues, consider uninstalling and reinstalling your network drivers from Device Manager. That might do the trick!

Yeah, I tried my phone and it connects fine to the WiFi. I’ll definitely check the Ethernet direct to the modem next!
