I'm on the hunt for an AM5 motherboard that features two USB 3.0 front panel connections without breaking the bank—preferably under $500. It's tricky since motherboard manufacturers don't usually highlight this feature, and my case has four USB Type-A ports on the front I/O. Does anyone have any solid recommendations?

You can use PCPartPicker to filter motherboards by those that have two USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers. It lets you sort by price too, so that could save you some time in your search!
Check if your case actually has two USB3 connections for those four ports. A lot of cases typically just have one USB3 header and two USB2 headers. You'll want to make sure your case's connectors support what you're looking for!
Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, I don't have room for any more expansion cards, but I appreciate the help.
If you can't find a motherboard that fits your needs, you might want to consider using an expansion card. They're pretty easy to find online, and it could be a simpler and cheaper solution. Also, if your current motherboard has a USB-C front panel connector that you're not using, that might be another option!
TIL! I’ll definitely give that a shot, thanks!
