Am I Seeing a Virus on My Computer?

I've never encountered this before, and I'm running Windows 11. When I press the Windows key, WhatsApp pops up in my recommended apps, urging me to download it. I've never used WhatsApp, so I'm wary and haven't clicked on it, just in case it's a virus. I also meant to add a picture, but I forgot!

Oh man, it's just forced ads! We’re not living in the apocalypse yet—don’t worry, you can turn them off if it gets too annoying.

Phew, glad to hear that! I was freaking out for a moment.

To find out if you have a virus, try running Windows Defender. It's your built-in antivirus tool and can help identify any threats. Better safe than sorry, right?

I looked it up and apparently, it's just Windows pushing ads on me. So frustrating!
