I'm currently using a Ryzen 3 3200G and I'm thinking about upgrading to a GTX 1050 Ti while using a 400W power supply. According to the Newegg PSU Calculator, my setup is estimated to consume 386 watts, but I couldn't find the power consumption for my case and fans. I'm worried if my PSU can handle this, will it blow up or catch fire? Or will it just affect my PC's performance? Any advice would be appreciated!

You should have enough headroom with a 400W PSU, just make sure it’s a decent quality one and not some no-name brand. A reliable PSU is key.
400 watts is more than enough for your system. If the power supply could handle it, your system would just shut off if it tried to draw too much power. The 1050 Ti only uses about 75 watts and the 3200G has a TDP of 65 watts, so you're in a good spot!
Power supplies are designed to deliver only as much power as needed, so your system will be fine. If it tries to pull too much power, the motherboard will simply turn off. It's much more likely for a PSU to fail if it’s poorly ventilated or if it's of low quality rather than because it’s under load.
Glad to hear it's not going to explode! That's a relief.
No worries, your power supply won't blow up. Even budget PSUs typically won't explode; they usually just stop working if they fail.
Newegg’s estimate seems a bit high! You could actually run that setup on something like a 250W power supply. So, you shouldn't have to worry about it blowing up when you add the GPU, which is great news!
That's a relief! Thanks a ton for the reassurance!
Many estimators add an extra bit of headroom. It’s better to overestimate to be safe!
I actually bought it second-hand from my uncle, so not totally sure about the brand!
