Hey everyone! I've recently chosen Fedora as my Linux distribution and so far, I've enjoyed that it's lightweight and respects my privacy. However, I've hit a few bumps along the way. My Nvidia 3060 graphics card seems to have some compatibility issues because my PC often crashes when I try to watch YouTube videos. Regarding gaming, I tested The Binding of Isaac and it worked fine. Unfortunately, I locked myself into a frustrating 60hz resolution of 1024x768—my monitor supports 1920x1080 at 100hz, and I ended up having to reinstall the OS just to get back on track.
On top of that, I'm having trouble with Bluetooth connections. My headphones connect but disconnect when they try to output sound. I checked the console, and it looks like everything is set up properly there.
Lastly, I'm missing my favorite software, CSP4, and I'm trying to get it running with Wine, as the brushes in Krita are too choppy for me to use effectively. It could be due to the open drivers lacking official Huion support, or maybe it's something else entirely. I'm feeling a bit lost here. Any advice on how to resolve these issues or how to prevent this kind of trouble in the future?

In terms of missing CSP4, trying to use it with Wine is a good plan, but do take into account that not all programs will run perfectly on it. You can also look for alternative programs that might be better optimized for Linux.
Yeah, sometimes it's a bit of a trial and error to find what works best!
Have you tried changing your Nvidia driver according to the instructions on the RPM Fusion website? That usually helps with graphics issues on Fedora. Also, make sure your GPU is listed correctly, as the 3060 LHR might not match exactly with the common listings.
I checked, and my GPU is a 3060 LHR, which isn't specifically listed, but I guess it's under the general 3060 category so I can proceed with the commands they suggest.
Sounds like you should follow the instructions and see if that helps with your display issues!
As for your Bluetooth issues, it might help to reset your Bluetooth service or check if your kernel has compatibility problems. Sometimes a simple update can fix connectivity issues.
Definitely worth a shot! I've had similar issues before, and refreshing the service often does the trick.
That's a good point! I haven’t tried updating the kernel yet; it might solve the disconnects.
Thanks! I’ll keep that in mind while I experiment with different options.
