Hey folks! We're a small team in need of a free, straightforward ticketing system to help manage our tasks. Ideally, we want a platform that allows us to add internal notes, merge duplicate tickets, tag issues, and manage both email and chat communications all in one place. We're not looking for anything overly complicated—just something that's clear, easy to use, and well-organized. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Have you checked out osTicket? It's free and seems like it fits your needs pretty well! You can manage tickets easily, and it’s user-friendly. Here’s their site: [osticket.com](https://osticket.com/).
If you're open to self-hosting, check out RT (Request Tracker) on GitHub. It’s been around for a long time and is pretty robust, just requires a bit more setup.
Hesk is another great option! We’ve been using it, and it works really well for our team. I highly recommend it!
Service Desk Plus offers a free plan for up to 5 technicians, which could work for you if you have a small team.
