I'm looking to dual boot Arch Linux alongside my Linux Mint installation. Right now, I'm dual booting Windows 11 and Linux Mint on separate drives, with Windows on my SSD and Linux Mint on my HDD. My plan is to completely wipe Windows 11 off the SSD and install Arch there instead. I found some info online, including a mention of a tool called OS-Prober, which helps detect existing operating systems. I also saw an Arch Wiki page about installing Arch from an existing Linux system, but I'm unsure if that's specifically for installations on the same drive. Any tips on how to go about this?

OS-Prober is indeed used to detect boot options from existing partitions, which includes Windows if it's still there. Your plan to wipe Windows and install Arch is solid! But remember, always back up your important data just in case something goes wrong.
You don't need to install OS-Prober on your Mint setup before you install Arch. Instead, you will typically install it after you get Arch set up. Just make sure to follow the regular Arch installation steps, and add OS-Prober afterward to update the GRUB loader for any future boot options.
