I was watching an episode of the UK game show Pointless, and during a music segment, I recognized a song called "Joe Le Taxi" by Vanessa Paradis. When I exclaimed its name out loud, the next day, it popped up in my YouTube recommendations. This isn't the first time I've had similar experiences, so I'm curious about which device in my home might be listening in. I have an LG TV, a Roku with Plex, an iPhone 12 Pro, and an iPhone 16 Pro. Any suggestions on which one it could be?

I wouldn’t trust LG much regarding privacy; they've had issues before. But really, it seems like almost every device is spying now. We humans also tend to underestimate how often a suggestion can just be a recommendation that we notice after saying something out loud.
Honestly, if it's showing up on YouTube, then somewhere along the line, Google is definitely eavesdropping. I've noticed similar things happening too; it feels like more than coincidence after a while.
Lol, it could be any of them! Most smart devices, especially those with voice assistants like Siri or Google Assistant, are built to listen for their wake words. Your LG TV and Roku might be listening too; they feature capabilities that can pick up audio. Just a heads up, it's not just one device anymore, they're all in on it!
I can totally relate! I've had way too many specific coincidences for it to just be a fluke.
