What’s the Best Desktop Environment for Arch Linux?

I've recently made the switch to Arch Linux after using Ubuntu with GNOME for a few months. Now I'm trying to figure out which desktop environment (DE) I should go with. I have KDE Plasma and GNOME installed since I'm familiar with them, but I've also added Hyprland, which I haven't set up yet. I'm looking for recommendations on a DE that looks clean and minimal without being too lightweight. Any suggestions?

I’d suggest going with a DE that you’re comfortable using. Once you've picked one, you can always customize it to match your style. You can get some great inspiration on customization from communities like r/unixporn.

You really can't go wrong with XFCE if you're looking for something minimal and clean. It's not as resource-heavy as KDE or GNOME, which makes it a solid choice.

Hyprland is a great option if you want that minimal look, but be prepared to put some work into configuring it since it’s a tiling compositor rather than a full DE.

If you want something clean, you might enjoy Cosmic. It has a sleek interface along with key bindings and tiling that combines the best of both worlds.

Honestly, just try KDE and GNOME and see which one you prefer. KDE has a layout similar to Windows, while GNOME feels more Mac-like.
