I've been tracking my Fargate usage, and despite no changes on my end, I've noticed a huge spike in costs over the last few days, jumping from about $6 a day to a staggering $350! I've scrutinized CloudTrail but haven't found anything unusual. Everything seems normal in us-east-1: no long-running tasks, no unexpected UpdateService or CreateService calls, and no modifications to task definitions. Interestingly, this spike occurred simultaneously across three different accounts with similar costs. I've submitted a support ticket and am waiting for a response. Anyone else experiencing this?

Could this spike have started around July 15th around noon EST? That’s when I saw a jump in my metrics too. We might be looking at something affecting multiple accounts.
Yeah, I've noticed the same thing! It began around two days ago, and my billing for Fargate's CPU and memory has skyrocketed without any clear reason. My logs aren't showing any discrepancies in service usage either, which makes it really frustrating.
