I recently finished building my first website for a small business and I'm looking for reliable hosting suggestions. My POS system mainly recommends GoDaddy, but I've heard mixed reviews about them and am concerned about the overall experience. Are there better alternatives out there that can still work well with my POS system?

I've had a great experience with Cloudflare Pages; it's super reliable! But I'm curious, how did you land this project if you haven't built a website before?
If flexibility is a concern, I recommend checking out Hetzner. It's affordable, around 4 euros a month, and you can host both your website and server there. Plus, they have good performance for the price!
Thanks for the recommendation!
Honestly, I would steer clear of GoDaddy. For low to medium traffic websites, DigitalOcean or even a solid VPS should work great. Since you mentioned expecting around 250 visitors daily, you'd really benefit from a reliable VPS setup. DigitalOcean is especially good; I've trusted them for years. Just avoid GoDaddy; too many bad experiences from fellow web developers!
Thanks for the heads up on that!
Definitely seconding DigitalOcean; I've been using it for over a decade without any issues.
Forget GoDaddy—it can be a hassle with their upsells. I'd recommend trying SiteGround or Namecheap for managed hosting options. They provide solid performance and support, which might save you a headache in the long run. If you're looking for budget options, Hostinger is also quick and cheap, but be wary of shared hosting as it can lag your site's performance in Google rankings.
Great, I’ll check those out!
Just to clarify, I have built a few smaller projects before, but nothing at a business scale.
