Hey everyone! I bought a 3070 back in April 2021 and absolutely loved it, but unfortunately, it got cooked. I've just ordered a 5070 because I'm excited for the DLSS4 frame generation feature. However, some friends are telling me I made a mistake and that it's not worth the upgrade. I mainly play single-player games and don't really dive into heavy multiplayer ones. Now, I'm wondering if I wasted my money! Should I return the 5070 and consider spending a bit more for a 5070 Ti?

The 5070 is about 50% faster than the 3070, so it really depends on whether you think that performance boost is worth what you paid for it. If it fits your gaming needs, you should be good!
I just upgraded for MSRP and I'm really happy with my decision. If you're thinking about returning it, you might want to hold out for a Ti if you can get it at a decent price.
