What’s up with that weird Google message on my Android?

I was trying to search for something on Google using my Android phone when I got a strange message saying there was unusual traffic detected from my network. The message mentioned that I needed to solve a CAPTCHA to continue using the service and that this might be due to malware or automated requests. I was connected to my home Wi-Fi, and though I don't have a VPN or anything suspicious on my phone, I'm concerned if I might have a virus. I also couldn't take a screenshot of the message, which was frustrating. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

It sounds like it could be a mix-up on Google's end. Do you share your home Wi-Fi with anyone else? Sometimes if multiple devices are making requests too quickly, Google might flag it. I wouldn’t worry too much about malware; it’s more likely just a hiccup with the system rather than your phone being infected.

I had a similar issue when I accessed certain websites recently. I think it’s just a temporary glitch. If you try again after a little while, it should be fine. No need to panic about potential viruses or anything at this point.

I faced a similar captcha issue yesterday while logging into a site; could just be that Google’s been experiencing some instability or maintenance. You're probably okay!
