I'm on the hunt for free subdomains for my project. I found that js.org offers some, but my site doesn't meet their criteria. Are there any other platforms that provide short and attractive subdomains for free? I'm hoping to find a good solution before I start spending on a paid domain.

Freedns.afraid.org is a solid option for free DNS hosting! You can set up various subdomains there, so give it a shot if you’re exploring free alternatives.
You might want to check out Netlify; they provide default domains for new deployments that are pretty neat! Just search 'Netlify deploy' and see if that fits your style.
Have you thought about using GitHub Pages? It might work well for you, and you can get a subdomain like yourname.github.io for free! It’s a great option if you're looking to host simple sites without spending any cash.
I actually have a github.io page, but I’m looking for something fancier, like what js.org offers. I'm definitely considering buying a domain if I can't find anything better.
This sounds promising! I'm definitely going to check it out.
