Hey everyone! Our team is currently on the hunt for a better remote access tool to help support our remote staff and end users. We've been using Logmein, but we're hoping to find a more budget-friendly replacement. Here's what we need: 1) Team role management, 2) Chat functionality, 3) Session history, 4) Session recording, 5) Easy installation and user interface, 6) File transfer, and 7) Unattended access. I'd really appreciate any suggestions you might have!

Definitely consider either Rustdesk, Mesh Central, or Splashtop. For the features you mentioned, I find Splashtop offers great value for the money, same features as LogMeIn but at a lower cost.
I personally like DameWare Mini Remote Control (DWMRC) and DameWare Remote Support (DWRS). Now owned by SolarWinds, these tools let you install agents remotely using WMI. As long as you’re an admin, it’s super straightforward to manage remote access.
Splashtop ticks off most, if not all, of your requirements, and the pricing is very reasonable. You can deploy it easily via GPO or Intune.
I’d have suggested ScreenConnect, but I've noticed that it’s been flagged as malicious by various security tools lately. We use it to connect to machines without our RMM, and it’s a hassle for users to whitelist it or turn off their protection temporarily.
I recommend checking out Rustdesk; it should meet all your requirements. I just got the go-ahead to purchase it today, and I’m really excited about it!
Yeah, I’ve heard similar issues about ScreenConnect. It can be difficult managing those security prompts with users.
