I have an Erazer Medion Major x20 and I've been using a Chicony charger (19.5V - 16.92A - 330W) that was starting to show signs of failure. To make it work, I twisted and bent it, but now it's completely fried on the inside with brown marks. Just today, my laptop started bluescreening just a minute after booting, then resetting itself. I thought the crashes were getting less frequent, but now it's happening consistently. Have I ruined my laptop for good, or is there a chance it can be fixed? I'm definitely not using that faulty charger anymore!

There's a chance this could be a software issue caused by the faulty charger interrupting some vital system processes. A clean setup from a USB could help, wiping everything on the system drive. Fingers crossed, that could be your silver lining. But, if it’s hardware damage, you’ll want to take it to a trusted repair shop to see what can be salvaged.
