Last night, my sister accidentally clicked on a suspicious link sent by a classmate, and now messages have been sent from her phone number to private Indian numbers. One message appears to be some sort of code, and we're really worried because this could lead to her photos being leaked. We're not concerned about financial scams, but this is a serious situation for her. Please, any advice on what to do?

First off, check if she has any accounts linked to the Bank of Baroda. If she does, it's really important to transfer any remaining funds to a secure account just in case. Good move on transferring all money already! Just keep an eye on her accounts for any unusual activity.

Yeah, we did that already. Just trying to figure out the next steps to ensure her safety.

You should definitely report this to her phone carrier and see if they can put a hold on her number. Changing passwords and enabling two-factor authentication on her accounts is a must too. Better safe than sorry!
