I'm new to working with Hyper-V and need some help. I have a virtual machine (VM) that runs on Hyper-V for work purposes, but I won't have access to my main computer for a while. Can I just copy the VHDX file to another computer that also has Hyper-V? The new computer has some specific work software I need to use. Is this a feasible option, or will I run into issues? Any advice would be appreciated!

Yes, you can copy the VHDX file, but be aware there might be some complications if you have snapshots or if it's set up with dynamic disks. It's best to use the Export option in the VM Manager to make sure you get everything transferred smoothly, including the VM settings.
Disabled Snapshots and has a fixed storage size, so shouldn't be much of an issue. Will be exporting it then, thank you very much!
