I'm working on a detailed Dungeons and Dragons world and have created a lot of content that I've been organizing into files. I've set up a structure where I have continents, cities, important places, and characters sorted out, but as I dive deeper, managing all these files is getting tricky. I often find myself opening multiple notepad and other file types, making navigation cumbersome. I'm considering switching to a wiki-style format to streamline all this information, similar to some simple HTML sites I learned to create in elementary school. I envision having a main page with links to cities and relevant details, allowing for easy access. This is just for personal use, so it's not for publication. Are there any suggestions or other ways to effectively manage this content? I also want to mention I'm not very experienced with coding, so I hope it won't be too complicated to set up.

You might want to check out Obsidian! It's designed for personal knowledge management and allows you to create a wiki-like structure with internal links. This way, you can avoid the hassle of running a full wiki and just focus on your content. Plus, it's great for connecting ideas and information without needing lots of different files open at once.
I just heard about Obsidian too, and it sounds promising! I'm going to download it and see if it works for me. Thanks for the tip!
