I'm trying to figure out how to use both my headphones and new speakers at the same time via the rear ports on my PC. My case only has audio output in the front without a mic, and my headphones have both audio and mic, making them difficult to use with the front panel. Currently, I have my headphones plugged into the green and the pink port for the mic, and my speakers in the blue port (front speaker out). However, both devices play audio simultaneously and show up as the same device in the sound settings. My motherboard is an MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wifi. Is there a way to plug in both and switch between them using my PC's sound settings?

You might want to consider getting a DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter). I have the Sennheiser GSX-1000, and it allows me to use both my headphones and speakers seamlessly without any issues.
Make sure you've installed the correct audio drivers from your motherboard, like Realtek. That can allow you to adjust the jack settings so your PC recognizes whether headphones or speakers are plugged in. However, this option isn't available in the standard Windows sound settings.
