My WiFi Adapters Won’t Turn On Before My Meeting! Help!

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a bind! I just restarted my Windows 11 PC for updates, and now I can't find the WiFi option anywhere. Bluetooth works and airplane mode is off, but the WiFi tab is just missing! I've checked the settings, drivers are up to date, and I've tried resetting the network settings too. I even tried my old WiFi adapter, but it won't turn on either, even when I switch USB ports. The mouse and keyboard are working fine in the same ports, so I don't understand what's going on. I really need to get this sorted out because I have an important online meeting in just 3 hours! I could go to the library, but I'd really prefer to handle this from home. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Here's a quick tip: you might want to try rolling back your PC to a point before the update. This should restore your previous settings and get your WiFi working again. After your meeting, you can tackle the problem more calmly!

Have you tried giving your PC another restart? Sometimes that can do the trick. Also, check if your system recognizes the WiFi adapters at all when you plug them in. If they show up but the lights aren't turning on, that’s odd.

I just turned it off, but I could see the adapter in the settings when plugged in. Still, the lights won't turn on, which is frustrating, especially since I need to leave soon.

Sounds like a real headache! If nothing else works, maybe temporarily borrowing a laptop is a good backup plan.

You should check the Device Manager for any issues with the WiFi adapters. If you see anything wrong, sometimes uninstalling and rebooting can help get everything back in order.

I checked and there are no warnings on any of the adapters, and they all seem normal. I did a network reset too, but still no luck.

If push comes to shove, you can probably grab a library WiFi signal from the parking lot if privacy is a concern during your call. Sometimes troubleshooting isn't easy when you’re rushed!
