I'm really worried because a week ago, I got an email saying my Google password was changed. I recently updated it myself but still changed it again just to be safe. Then, I received another email asking me to confirm my email for a Snapchat account that I never signed up for. I don't have Snapchat at all! I didn't confirm anything, but I changed my Google password again and set up two-factor authentication. I checked my account's recent activity, but it only showed my own devices. When I tried to log into Snapchat to deactivate that fake account, my password wasn't accepted. I ended up reporting the profile and marked the emails as spam. I'm really concerned that my Google account might be hacked and that someone's playing around with my information. How can I fix this?

Check the bottom of your Gmail for your IP address, and look for active sessions. If you see devices you don't recognize, sign out of those sessions immediately. Someone may have logged in before you changed your password, and they could still be active on your account.
It's not uncommon for people to try using someone else's email to create accounts. They might have mistyped their email. I wouldn't stress too much unless you notice suspicious activity. If you're still concerned, reset the Snapchat password; a reset link will be sent to your email.
You can go to Snapchat's site and reset your password. They will send a reset link to your email. If you can't log in at all, it might be due to their password requirements being a bit strict.
Make sure that the Snapchat email was authentic. If you're worried about your email being compromised, update your password, then log out of all devices in your account settings. That should secure your account. As for the Snapchat issue, it seems like someone just used your email by mistake to create an account, not realizing it wasn’t theirs.
