Looking for Advice on Building a Budget PC

I'm looking to build a PC with a budget of around $500, and I'm not super knowledgeable about the components. Here's a rough list of what I'm considering: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 for the graphics card, either an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel Core i5-12400F for the processor, and I'm thinking about a 1 TB SSD along with 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR4 RAM. I'm based in Moldova, so prices might be a bit higher. Can anyone help me decide if this combination will work well and if it's feasible within my budget?

The 3060 paired with either the Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel i5-12400F is a solid setup for 2025, especially within your budget! Just keep in mind that prices in Moldova might fluctuate, so it’s good to check local listings.

In terms of CPU, I'd lean towards the AMD option. It's generally a good bang for your buck and should serve you well for gaming and multitasking!

You've got a nice list going, but you might not need to go for the 32 GB RAM. 16 GB should be more than enough for gaming and everyday use!

I think you're on the right track! Instead of the 32 GB of RAM, you could stick with 16 GB and save some cash. Also, consider a micro ATX case and motherboard; they can be cheaper and still do the job right!

Honestly, building that PC for $500 is going to be tough. You might want to think about sourcing some used parts for better deals. In the US, it would be simpler, but with your location, options could vary.

True, but I think if you look for used parts, you might find a decent RX 9060 XT or something similar within budget.
