What should I do if I think someone hacked my accounts?

I downloaded a game for free from a popular site, and now I'm worried I might have picked up a virus. Since then, my LinkedIn password and associated phone number were changed, plus 2FA was enabled without my knowledge. I managed to regain access to my LinkedIn but couldn't reset my password due to an error message. Recently, my Steam account was also compromised, along with my email. I've removed all Gmail accounts from my laptop and ensured that they have 2FA, but I need advice on preventing further issues and cleaning my laptop.

First off, definitely change your passwords for all accounts and set up 2FA wherever you can. It’s also important to let us know where you downloaded the game from. I recommend running Malwarebytes to check for any threats on your system. If the situation doesn't improve, the best option might be to format your laptop and reinstall the operating system (Windows or whichever OS you prefer).
