I accidentally set Windows Media Player Legacy to open a specific file, but now I can't get it to run properly. I've tried deleting the file and redownloading it, but it still opens with the same program. I'm looking for help on how to change the default app to something else if that's possible. Just a bit of context, I haven't had my own laptop for long, so I'm still learning how to navigate these things. Thanks in advance!

You can change the default app for a specific file type by searching for "default apps" in your settings. From there, you can choose the specific file type and select a different app to open it with. Just make sure to pick one that supports that file format!

If you're dealing with a .jar file, you might want to try installing Java since .jar files usually require the Java Runtime Environment to run. Just a thought!
