Why am I getting a “Virtualization support not detected” error with Docker?

I'm new to Docker and just installed Docker Desktop, but I'm facing an issue. I keep getting an error message stating, "Virtualization support not detected. Docker Desktop requires virtualization support to run. Contact your IT admin to enable virtualization or check system requirements." The strange part is that I've already enabled virtualization in the BIOS. Can anyone help me figure out how to resolve this issue?

One common fix is just to restart your system. It worked for me when I encountered a similar issue. Give it a shot and see if that resolves the error for you!

Make sure to double-check that virtualization is indeed enabled in the BIOS settings. Look for options like Intel VT or AMD-V, depending on your processor. Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to find.

I had a similar issue where I had to troubleshoot some damaged Windows components. It might be worth looking into that if other solutions aren't working.

Also, let me know which version of Windows you're on. If it's the Home edition, there might be some specific problems that could be impacting Docker's ability to detect the virtualization support.
