I received a payment confirmation email from a Gmail account ([email protected]) claiming to be from McAfee, which I've never heard of. The email also had a PDF attachment, but I haven't opened it yet. I only use this email for my gaming accounts and it's linked to my Steam account. Should I be concerned about this email, or is it safe to just mark it as spam? I'm worried they might have my card info, especially since there was a phone number included. What's the best course of action here?

Yeah, it’s 100% a scam. Real companies wouldn’t use random Gmail accounts for processing payments. Just report it as spam and move on.
Sounds like a typical spam or malware attempt. I wouldn’t stress too much—just block the sender and forget about it.
If it’s an unexpected invoice, it’s almost definitely a scam. Legit businesses don’t send invoices from Gmail. You’re safe to ignore it.
Looks like a sketchy email to me. I’d recommend just marking it as spam and deleting it. If you’re really worried, log into your payment account directly instead of using any links in that email.
You could also check the official McAfee site directly, but don’t use any links from that email. Just to be safe, I’d recommend deleting it.
