I recently found out that someone used my Gmail account to create an EA account that I never even signed up for. I woke up to three emails about it, and when I checked my search history, I didn't see any odd activity, so I changed my password. However, today I received another email saying that the EA account was being closed for violating their terms of service. Since I changed my Gmail password, should I be worried or is there something else I should do?

It sounds like those EA emails were probably just spam or bots trying to sign up for new accounts using people's emails. I had a similar experience not long ago but I have MFA set up, so no worries for me. Make sure your MFA is enabled; that way, even if someone gets your credentials, they can't easily access your account without that second step. You're probably fine just changing your password, but definitely double-check for any unusual activity just in case.
Thanks! I'll enable MFA right away.
