I'm trying to create a quick website where attendees can RSVP for a series of free events I'm hosting. Ideally, the site would just display event dates and allow users to submit their name and email to RSVP. I want to limit the number of slots available for each event and show how many spots are left. I'm not looking to sell tickets, so online ticketing services don't fit my needs. I'm hoping to find a website service where I can easily create this setup but I'm not sure how to explain the features I'm looking for or what exactly to search for. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Have you thought about using Eventbrite? It could work for your needs, but keep in mind they typically charge fees even for free tickets. If you’re looking for something completely free for users, you might want a simpler system instead. You could look into website builders like Wix or Squarespace to see if they have RSVP features.
You could try just Googling 'RSVP tool.' That might bring up some options where people show availability for multiple events. It sounds like you want a more comprehensive setup than just a single-event page, though.
I've done some searching but a lot of RSVP tools seem to focus on single events. I need something that allows attendees to choose from multiple events on the same page. I wonder if I'm missing something?
Have you considered a semi-low-code approach using Google Forms and Google Sheets? You can set up a form for RSVPs, then keep track of responses in Sheets. You could also publish the sheet and create a simple front-end to display available spots for each event. It might be a bit tricky at first, but it could work well in the long run!
I looked into Eventbrite, but I'd rather avoid fees. I'm not super familiar with web development, so I wonder if Wix or Squarespace can accommodate what I need.
