Hey everyone, I've been facing some frustrating random FPS drops even while just browsing the web. I'm using an ASUS TUF FX505DT and have already cleaned it up, including changing the thermal paste and even reformatting the laptop, but the issue still persists. I'm hoping someone might have some ideas or fixes for this. Thanks for any help!

You might want to check the clock speed of your CPU. If the AMD drivers aren't installed correctly, it can drop to 1 GHz, which can definitely cause performance issues. Also, take a look at your storage health with Crystal Disk. If you've got some budget, consider upgrading to dual-channel RAM. Drivers are crucial too, so make sure you've got the right ones! Overclocking with AMD Master could help too, just remember to disable the integrated graphics. Good luck!
I tried installing AMD Master, but it gave me an error saying it can't be installed on my system. Also, the Crystal Disk showed a healthy status, but the FPS drops still happen during gameplay.
I've already upgraded to 16GB of RAM but still no changes. I’ll check out the other suggestions.
