I recently completed my first PC build, but I'm facing a major issue. My BIOS isn't recognizing the pump from my Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360. My idle temperatures are fluctuating significantly, often around 107°F and even spiking to 127°F! I'm using a MAG B650 motherboard paired with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. I could really use some help or suggestions to troubleshoot this. Notably, the fans are also running at full speed even when the PC is just idling.

First things first, make sure your pump is connected properly. Is it plugged into the CPU_OPT header, or is it connected to a specific pump header? That's crucial for detection.
Have you tried checking the temperatures while running a benchmark? Idle temps can be misleading. It’s worth testing under load to get a clearer picture, but run it cautiously since the fans are quite loud and there may be issues with the current setup.
I haven’t benchmarked it yet because I’m worried about running it hard with these temps and noise. Maybe I should just go for it and see what’s happening.

Good point! I’ll double-check that connection to see if it’s in the right spot.
