I'm looking to buy a gaming PC after my paycheck comes in next week. I want something that can handle high graphics on games like Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5, and various RPGs while maintaining at least 60 fps. I'm not sure which components are the best or if I should even go for a prebuilt PC. Originally, I thought about purchasing from VRLATech, but I've heard that they don't deliver the PCs after you pay, which is a bit troubling. My budget is $1,200 before tax, and I'd really appreciate any guidance on this!

Have you thought about building your own PC? It only takes a few hours to put together with some good YouTube tutorials, plus you can get better quality parts for the same price. It can be a fun and rewarding experience, too! If you live near a Microcenter, that's a great place to pick up parts.
Honestly, building your own machine is the way to go. Or you could pay someone local to build it for you, which might cost around $50-$100. Here are two build recommendations:
**AMD Build**
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 - $184.99
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B850M GAMING - $159.99
- Memory: 32 GB DDR5 - $84.97
- Storage: 1TB SSD - $58.49
- Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 9070 - $599.99
- Total: $1199.32
**Intel Build**
- CPU: Intel Core i5-14600K - $194.99
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit - $37.90
- Total: $1199.74
Check the online stores for these parts if you're interested!
Just a heads up, I'd recommend avoiding Star Forge if you're looking for a prebuilt option. I bought my first PC from them and ended up having a ton of issues with crashes and hardware failures. After months of back and forth, I had to file a chargeback. Good luck with your search!

I’ve considered it, but I wouldn’t even know where to begin with building one! I live in a small town, and the only decent store we have is Walmart.
