Why Did My Gaming Performance Suddenly Drop?

I've been using my PC with a Ryzen 5 3400 and integrated graphics, paired with 16GB of RAM at 2400MHz. A couple of days ago, I upgraded to a GTX 1660 SUPER SOYO. Initially, everything was running smoothly—Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales was hitting over 60 FPS on Very High settings, and Uncharted 4 was performing similarly at Ultra settings. However, today I noticed a dramatic drop in performance. Now, I can't even run Spider-Man on Very Low settings without significant FPS drops or stuttering. Uncharted doesn't stutter, but my frame rates have decreased. The only change I made was updating the BIOS on my ASUS A320M-K from version 6042 to 6242. Can anyone help with this?

You might want to try turning off fast startup in your system settings. It can sometimes interfere with graphics performance and cause stuttering during gameplay.

First off, make sure that all your drivers and operating system are fully updated. That can often resolve unexpected performance issues. Sometimes, just a simple driver update can make a big difference!

Actually, I've updated everything and even used DDU to clean and reinstall my display drivers.
