Help Me Build My First Gaming PC: Seeking Guidance for Gaming and Video Editing

Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first-ever PC build and could really use some advice. I aim to create a future-proof machine primarily for gaming, with some occasional video editing. I'm at about a 7/10 in terms of knowledge, so any guidance would be appreciated!

I'm planning to play games like the Arma series (especially Arma 4), Battlefield 6, CS, Valorant, the new F1 game, AC EVO, and maybe GTA 6. My budget is around €1300, plus an additional €200 for a monitor.

For the CPU, I'm thinking of going with Ryzen and for the GPU, Nvidia, making sure the GPU is stronger than the CPU. I don't need top-of-the-line graphics - medium to high settings will do for me. My main concern is to ensure that I can play games smoothly, particularly looking forward to Arma 4.

Here's the link to the build I was considering: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jNwYDj. I'd love your thoughts and any suggestions you have!

Your setup looks decent, but there’s definitely room for optimization. Consider downgrading to a Ryzen 5 9600X or, if you're willing to spend a little more, upgrade directly to a 7800X3D. Also, the 5060 Ti isn’t the best value; the 9060 XT 16GB is a cheaper option with similar performance. By the way, which country are you buying from? Your linked build looks like the US version of PCPartPicker.

I'm in Croatia. I need Nvidia, and I'm not too rigid on the budget. Any other CPU suggestions?

The build you put together looks pretty solid overall! There might be a few spots where you can save some cash, but you've done a good job balancing everything within your budget.

Thanks! Where can I cut costs the most?
