I woke up to find my iPad locked out because my cats were playing on it while I was asleep. I don't have a laptop to use iTunes or anything, and the screen just says it's unavailable. Is there anything I can do to unlock it?

You're gonna need to use a computer to reset your iPad. Without one, there's not much you can do. If you can get to an Apple Store nearby, they can help you out with unlocking it. Just remember to have your Apple Account details handy!

Also, for future reference, try to keep it face down when you’re not using it. It might help prevent any accidental cat shenanigans!

If you're okay with resetting it completely, there are methods to do that, but you do still need a computer at some point to initiate the reset. If you're worried about losing data, reaching out to someone who can help unlock it might be the way to go!

I saw a guy online say that he could help with unlocking or even data recovery, but be careful with that. Always be cautious with sharing your device info!
