Hey everyone, I'm looking for some clarification on implementing Windows Hello for Business for our Windows logons. Our setup has all computers domain joined and we use Microsoft Entra Connect. However, while our computers are Entra registered, they are not Entra joined or hybrid joined. We work with both on-premises and cloud applications — using LDAP for on-prem apps and SAML for cloud ones. We haven't integrated Intune yet. So, my main question is: do our computers need to be Entra joined in order to enable Windows Hello for Business logon, or is being Entra registered enough?

From what I know, your devices need to be Entra joined if you want to use Windows Hello for Business. You can manage WHfB with Group Policy, but being Entra joined is a requirement.
