Hey everyone! I just wrapped up the last problem set in Harvard's CS50 course and I'm gearing up for my final project. After that, I'm planning to create a website for my boss's business. I'm also looking into using Boot.dev for further learning, and maybe diving into some online math courses on the side. I'm passionate about becoming a backend developer and I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for additional resources or things I could do to enhance my education further?

I think it’s important to have a reality check. You’re jumping from an introductory course to making a business website, and that might be a bit ambitious. Remember, you’re just starting out, and building a production-ready website requires more experience than just the basics. But if your boss just needs a simple static site, that’s a more achievable goal!

Exactly! If it's just a simple HTML/CSS site to explain the business, that’s definitely doable. Focus on the basics first, then you can build up your skills from there!

It's awesome to see your enthusiasm! I've mentored quite a few students and I recommend focusing on building projects with specific backend frameworks, like Flask or Spring Boot. If you find a mentor along the way, that can really help you navigate your learning path effectively!
