I'm trying to decide between the RX 9070 XT and the RTX 5070 Ti for my build, which includes an R7 7800X3D and an X670E motherboard. The price difference is currently €105 (the 9070 XT is €659, while the 5070 Ti is €764). I'm mainly looking to play simulation games and some shooters at 1440p. Is the performance difference worth the additional cost?

Go for the 5070 Ti, especially with that price difference. The performance is solid for gaming at 1440p, and the DLSS support is a big advantage. Just better overall value for your setup!
I think it depends on what you prioritize. If you're looking for longevity and wider support, the RTX 5070 Ti is your best bet with its features and better performance in recent titles. But if you can snag the 9070 XT at a lower price, that could be a steal!
What do you mean by better performance? NVIDIA cards generally have better software support and efficiency!
If you want to save a bit, consider getting a cheaper B850 motherboard and then opt for the 5070 Ti. It'll work just fine, and you could use those savings for a better GPU or other upgrades!
Honestly, for just €105 more, I’d choose the 9070 XT. It's a strong card for the price, and if you find a deal, it might even outshine the 5070 Ti!

But the price is now €105 more. Is it still worth it?
