Hey everyone! I've got a few users who've reported seeing a pop-up window in the New Outlook on Windows 11 that says "Metrics." It's kind of odd because it shows things like memory usage and CPU stats. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. Just to give you a better idea, here's what the pop-up looks like:

Metrics

Uptime
Memory:
Renderer WSS: 518MB

Load Ratio: 71%

Peak Working Set Size: 690MB

CPU:
Usage (12): 0%

Client Metrics:

"Start Tracking"

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I just started testing the New Outlook, and I noticed that pop-up too. Pretty strange timing since I’ve seen others mention it too!

It looks like it might be part of a new Microsoft feature related to performance tracing. There's an article that discusses how to collect a performance trace in New Outlook, which could connect to what you're seeing. I’d suggest checking it out for more context!

Yeah, that definitely seems to fit! It’s interesting how these features sometimes just pop up unexpectedly.

I had this pop-up this morning too. I just closed it, and it hasn't come back since. It’s really weird; I hope it’s not a sign of some glitch!
