Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building a new PC and could really use your input on potential cost-saving changes or any other recommendations you might have. Here's a quick rundown of my planned parts:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core for $359.00
- **CPU Cooler**: NZXT Kraken Elite 360 for $249.99
- **Motherboard**: Asus TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI for $226.99
- **Storage**: Kingston KC3000 2.048 TB NVME SSD for $154.94
- **Video Card**: PNY OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB for $749.99
- **Case**: NZXT H9 Flow RGB+ for $289.99
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850e 850 W for $114.99
This brings my total to about $2145.89. If you have suggestions on how I can save some bucks or upgrade anything, I'd love your feedback! Thanks!

You might want to switch to the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which will give you about 10% more performance for roughly $100 less. Also, consider a more affordable case; you could save about $150-$200. Check out the Lian Li Lancool 217, it's a solid option! With those savings, you could invest in an RTX 5080 or a nice OLED monitor instead—your high-end build deserves it!
I'm not a fan of NZXT either after that expose—I switched to Lian Li because of it!
You can save over $100 on that CPU cooler without sacrificing performance. The motherboard you've chosen is decent, but there are cheaper options available that still have great features. Overall, the build looks good if you're aiming for around $2000—just keep an eye on those extras!
Totally agree on the case switch! I was not aware of how pricey the NZXT cases can get.
