I just built my PC yesterday, and I'm starting to install Fortnite. However, I've noticed that when I open the Epic Games Launcher, the fans get really noisy. But when I close the launcher, the noise drops significantly. Is this normal, or should I be concerned?

It doesn't seem normal for the fans to be that loud, but it could be a minor issue. Check if your CPU temperature spikes when you open the launcher. It might be helpful to look at your fan settings too. Also, is the launcher downloading or updating any games? That could make your PC work harder and cause the fans to spin up.
I am downloading Fortnite right now, could that be the reason for the noise?
