Looking for a Budget-Friendly PC Upgrade for My Son

Hey everyone! I'm hoping to upgrade my son's PC. He's currently running a small form factor machine with a 3.2GHz processor, a GTX 1030, and 16GB of RAM, but the motherboard can't support any additional upgrades. I'm looking for a decent budget-friendly option, preferably ready-built. My son plays games like Minecraft and Spider-Man, and he's also trying his hand at creating his own world in Unreal Engine. I'm primarily considering GPUs around the 1060 or RX 580 8GB mark, but I'm not too sure if those are still good choices. Any advice or links would be appreciated!

It sounds like you're not super familiar with the tech side of things (which is totally fine!). For a good upgrade, you should aim for a motherboard that supports DDR5 RAM, ideally get around 32GB of RAM, and ensure you have plenty of SSD storage. If you're looking at a budget build, a Ryzen 5 7500F along with a decent budget GPU of about $300 would keep his PC relevant for the next 5 years. Expect to spend around $500-$600 for a solid upgrade.

I appreciate the tips! Just to clarify, my budget is for something like a 1050Ti or RX 580, so I might need to adjust my expectations.
