Hey everyone! I built my gaming PC back in 2020 and now I'm considering some upgrades. My budget is between £1,000 to £1,500, but I'm a bit lost on where to start. Should I just put all the money towards a new GPU, or would my other components hold me back? I mainly play Call of Duty and strategy games like Civilization and Anno. Here's my current setup:
- XFX Radeon RX 5700 XL 8GB
- MSI X570-A PRO Motherboard
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Processor
- Seasonic 620W PSU
- Noctua NH-U12S CPU Cooler
- WD 1 TB Hard Drive & 512GB NVME SSD
- Corsair 32 GB DDR4 RAM
- Fenvi WiFi Card
- 49" Odyssey OLED Gaming Monitor

With your budget, you might actually be better off building a whole new PC and selling your old one. I found a build that totals around £1,300, which is a great value for the upgrade. Check it out:

- **Memory**: Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith 32 GB DDR5
- **Storage**: Western Digital Black SN770 2 TB SSD
- **Video Card**: ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB
- **Case**: Montech XR Mid Tower
- **PSU**: Montech CENTURY II 850W
This build will handle gaming like a champ!
I would adjust a few parts from that list, though. You can get a Corsair Vengeance RAM kit for just a bit more and it would work better with your setup. Plus, there are more efficient coolers for the AMD 9070XT that are priced similarly.
