I'm facing a frustrating issue with my brand new PC that keeps crashing and restarting. This started about two weeks after I first booted the system. It randomly freezes, shows a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), and then restarts into the BIOS. When I check the BIOS after a crash, the disk that has my operating system (the only disk in the PC) disappears from the boot sequence, but it comes back once I turn off the computer and power it back on. The critical error I see in the event log is kernel power 41 (63). Strangely, this has been happening at totally unpredictable times and it could occur while I'm gaming, browsing the web, or even just idling on the desktop. I've tried several solutions like checking for corrupted system files, updating drivers, scanning the disk, switching power sockets, turning off Fast Startup, and monitoring temperatures, but nothing seems to work. Additionally, I've noticed that whenever my fridge compressor starts up, my monitor and some lights flicker, which makes me wonder if that could be causing these crashes. I'm considering trying a surge protector, but I'm unsure how to set it up effectively.

Have you looked into whether a recent Windows update might be causing your troubles? There was one (KB5063878) that’s known to cause BSODs and drive detection issues like what you're experiencing. I suggest checking that out and considering either uninstalling that update or using a different drive if possible until Microsoft rolls out a fix. It sounds like you might need to check your dump files for a better diagnosis of the BSOD issues. You can find them in the C:WindowsMinidump folder if you can boot into Windows or Safe Mode. Just zip that folder and upload it to a file-sharing site. More dump files can help pinpoint the issue better!
I did hear about that update, but I’ve had issues even before it was released, so I’m not sure if it’s the main culprit.
