I recently installed Lubuntu on my old travel laptop, but I've found that LXQt doesn't have enough features for my needs. Unfortunately, I don't have a USB drive handy to try out a different distro. Are there any alternative ways I can reinstall or switch to a different desktop environment without a USB? Just so you know, I have dual boot set up and I'm experienced with Linux.

You could definitely install a different desktop environment using the package manager in Lubuntu. That way, you wouldn’t have to reinstall everything. Just bear in mind that some packages may need to be specifically designed to work with the DE you're adding.
What specific features are you missing with LXQt? Maybe there's a way to tweak it or install additional tools to get what you need.
I'm really looking for better window management and easier network settings. LXQt just didn't cut it for me.

That’s true, but you might run into some issues. Some distros are optimized for specific desktop environments, so switching might not give you the best experience.
