I recently set up a new Mac and when I tried to reset my Apple account password, it kept saying that my iPhone passcode was incorrect, even though it's definitely the right one. Now, I'm stuck in account recovery. Does anyone know why this might be happening or how I can resolve it?

You can try resetting your password directly on your iPhone. Just go to Settings, tap on your name, then Sign-In & Security, and select Change Password. It might do the trick!

I tried that, but every time I do, it asks me for my current password, which I can't enter since I've forgotten it!
