I just built my first PC, and now I need to install an operating system. The only computer I have is a Mac, and I've tried different apps to create a bootable USB with a Windows ISO, but none have worked so far. I don't have access to any Windows PCs to run the necessary executable for the conversion. Is there a way I can install Windows using just my Mac?

You can use Balena Etcher on your Mac to create a bootable USB. First, download the Windows ISO from Microsoft's website. Etcher supports creating bootable drives on macOS, so it should work! Here's the link to the ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11. If you're open to alternatives, consider trying Linux too, like Bazzite—it's great for gaming! You might have issues with the boot order in your BIOS. Double-check that it’s set to boot from the USB first. Some Macs have trouble creating bootable USBs, especially newer models. Have you looked into using Boot Camp or a third-party solution?
Making a Linux USB on your Mac might be an idea since you can then use that to create a Windows USB once you're on Linux. Just a thought!
Another option is to use a library or community center where they might have Windows PCs available. Just pop in, use one of their computers to create the USB, and you’re good to go!

I’d recommend the guide on creating a bootable USB with a Windows ISO on Mac too. Just follow the same steps you’d use for Ubuntu but swap in the Windows ISO!
