Struggling with WiFi Driver and PC Crashes

Hey everyone! I'm really not tech-savvy, so I could use some help. My PC has been crashing with a black screen saying 'your device ran into a problem,' and it throws up a DCP watchdog violation error. I thought it might be my WiFi driver since it's from 2011. I tried updating my game drivers, but that didn't fix anything. I attempted to install a new Realtek driver too, but no luck there either. Now, I can log into my PC and connect to WiFi fine, but my gaming experience is terrible—I'm constantly dealing with ping spikes and dropped connections. Any advice would really mean a lot!

It sounds like you've done some good troubleshooting already! The black screen can definitely be frustrating. Have you checked the minidump files? They might give you more insight into what's causing the crashes. If it’s specifically a driver issue, manually uninstalling the old driver completely before installing the new one could help. Just make sure to restart your PC after you uninstall it.

I appreciate the tip! Unfortunately, I’m still facing the black screen instead of the classic blue screen. I’ll try uninstalling the driver fully and give it another go.
