What Upgrades Should I Consider for My PC?

I'm looking to upgrade my gaming setup, specifically from an Nvidia RTX 2060 Super and a Ryzen 7 3700X CPU. You can check out my current build [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7jjPrM). I came across mentions of the RX 7700 XT or the Ryzen 5 5700 as potential upgrades; are those still solid choices? I mainly play shooter games like Destiny, Battlefield, and Ghost Recon, but I also enjoy titles like Star Wars: Fallen Order, Cyberpunk, Fallout, and Ghost of Tsushima. I often have YouTube running on a second monitor and stream occasionally. I'd appreciate any advice on what components I should look into, especially with a budget of $500 to $700, ideally aiming for around $500 total.

If you're primarily into shooters and want something with a little more longevity, think about investing in the latest AMD offerings. The new processors are doing quite well for games and multitasking. Just keep an eye out for sales to grab those at a better price!

Honestly, the RX 7700 XT is a great choice if you're looking for solid FPS in those shooter games. You might also want to consider the 5700, especially if you want to stay within your budget. You should get good performance for streaming as well!

I had a similar setup before upgrading and went for a 5700X and it was a game changer. Just be wary of component prices; they can fluctuate. Starting with the 5700X is a safe bet, then upgrade your GPU once your budget allows it!

Great advice, thanks! I'll keep an eye on those prices.

Your budget is pretty key here! For around $500-$700, I’d recommend looking at the Ryzen 5 5700X. It's great for gaming and streaming without breaking the bank. If you can save a little more, you could upgrade to something like the RX 7700 XT for better graphics performance. Just make sure your power supply can handle it!

If you're aiming for a brand new system, consider going for a Ryzen 5 7600X with a decent cooler and a 9060 XT graphics card. I saw a great build setup for about $830 overall, which you can adjust to fit your budget by swapping components. Just double-check that your case and power supply can accommodate these parts!

Thanks for the tips! I'll check if my PSU is up to the task.
